When I arrived I saw all these cool buildings and thought this place is really nice but one building is an organic food store (no, not organic shopping on my tree hunting day), an antique store (boring), an icecream store (which is nice if you want icecream in 40 degree snow weather) and a gift store with mostly wreaths, poinsettias & greens to buy (not very gifty or arts & crafty). Out behind these where the tree farm starts where two other big pretty buildings, I was hoping one would be a big gift shop , to walk in get some hot chocolate, purchase a cookie or pie but no, they were both just gyms! Yep, workout gyms!
Such a shame, with the right management and a little creativity this place has the set up to be grand but for me it was a totally flop.
Great place to take the family, there are carousel and train rides as well as some animals to see along the way. The ice cream is amazing as well! There is also an organic grocery store that has a really nice selection of goods.
And theyre so called hey ride is not a festive one, it just takes you out and drops you off to cut a tree (Norway).
Great place to take your younger kids. My 3 and 4 year old enjoyed it. The ice cream was fantastic!
Not impressed. Its website said it had a varierty of trees . I drove over an hour out of my way to find the whole lot basically 99 % of the trees to be Norway spurses, an ugly tree in my opinion. They had a few precut variety ones in the front but very limited.
Very nice place. Fall events include hayrides, corn maze, homemade ice cream, coffee and a great general store. The train ride is nice as well. I would definitely recommend this place.
Perfect place for a nice short trip with the kids! They loved the animals.
