The Lord, Jesus Christ, and this Church is the center of my family. New Life is a Gospel preaching, Biblically based Church full of love and hope. They have wonderful programs for all ages, including youth programs, programs for children, an awesome group for seniors, Bible Studies for both men and women, Sunday School for all ages, a wonderful Worship Service mixed with the old tried and true Hymns and more modern Choruses, dinners for family night programs and so much more! If you are looking for a place to belong, New Life is the place for you and your family! It truly has enriched three generations of my family and we will surely welcome yours!
I attended this church at the time of my neice's death. Pastor Levy was the first to come to me and express his sympathy. Everyone at this church was very compassionate and careing. Of course at a time such as this people do react this way. However this was genuine and I felt so embraced and lifted up in prayer. I have been in this world for a long time and I can discern the difference between a church that is more like a social club verses one that focuses on Jesus Christ. I felt so at home as if I belonged there. Seeing that Ilive a great distance away that would not be possible. I do encourage anyone looking for a new church to visit and see for yourself! May Jesus continue to bless all this body in all they do.
It is shameful how Pastor Norm and his office assistant Pam and Bonnie have conducted themselves and how poorly they have treated our family. We are Christians ourselves (attending another church now) and I am ashamed to think that people like this profess to be disciples of God's Kingdom. God knows what they are doing and who they really are and thankfully His righteousness will always reign.
Pastor Norm and the people who work at this church are dishonest and untrustworthy. We have personally experienced misconduct and mishandeling of funds. The people of this congregation ought to know what is really going on behind closed doors. We rented the house in front of the church building from them and even attended their services from time to time. When it came time to move out and return our $3250 security deposit they refused to give it back to us. We know that they are very deep in dept because a letter was sent to the house stating a lien was taken out on the property because they were almost $18,000 in arrears on the property taxes. While we lived there we had a lot of plumbing issues and when we called the plumbing company they used they wouldn't come out because they said the church was so far behind on paying them that they wouldn't come out until the debt was settled. So needless to say we were nervous about getting our security money back but we never thought they would be dishonest enough to say that the reasons for not returning our money was because there was dust on the window sills and soap in the soap holders in the bathrooms.
My family and I have been attending this church for over 20 years, and I would like to clear the air based on the 1 poor review written (out of 2 other 5 star reviews). New Life Christian Church has been nothing but honest and supportive. Pastor Norm and the faculty make it a point to be invested in each attendee and are always giving of their time, love, and funds. After attending this church, it's hard to find any other congregation as personal and uplifting. I can say with pride that this place has changed my life. Pastor Norm's services leave you with a clear understanding of the scripture and personally touched. Because of this church I have a deeper understanding and closer relationship with God. The church is so kind and welcoming that they become your second family. I always leave service feeling positive and having the desire to make a difference in Jesus's name. They're re-enactment dramas give you a different and personal view of the scripture and are widely attended. I have never felt or heard of any negativity going on within the church. I would highly recommend this amazing congregation to anyone who is looking for a new place of worship. By just attending one service, you will want to come back again and again.
