Staff is very unfriendly and provides very poor customer experiences. Store Manages are the worst I have ever dealt with.(Doug in particular) More expensive than local hardware and Lowe's. Unless you are in a major rush, save money and go else where.
Very rude manager who argued with me about returning paint. When he rudely said to me, “That’s the paint you picked, so you can’t return it.” I simply explained that I’m only asking because I normally buy my paint from Home Depot and I’ve returned paint to them before and this is my first time buying paint from ACE so I didn’t know the return policy. He argued with me again by saying that I chose that paint color and for that reason it can’t be returned and then said “that’s actually the policy for every paint store”. So he basically called me a liar to my face when I’ve been refinishing furniture for years and buy my paint from Home Depot, so I’m not lying. I said, “Okay, than I guess they were just being nice to me.” It’s called customer service, ACE. Learn something about it. The tone you use, the body language you use and the words you use when engaging with a customer will either cause them to return to you, or cause them to never come back. The 25 minute drive to Home Depot for paint and anything else hardware related will be worth it now.
