Decent service on a new fireplace last year but installer did not leave a manual. They want $175 for a service call to turn on the pilot. Sharon suggested I go elsewhere for support. Jen followed up with a manual and assured me they would have provided telephone support. Luckily I resolved the issue on my own.
I have to say Newtown Fireplace and ED, himself, went above and beyond to have our gas insert installed after finding out we needed an outlet behind the insert so a cord is not running along the outside. Understandably during the busy season we may have to wait a month for the install to be completed, but Ed called himself to an electrician he knew and had them come out within an hour to have the outlet installed, so the insert would be finished in one day. Ed, personally, was going to come out after hours to complete the job, if necessary. I would definitely recommend anyone to them.
Ed runs a great company. You'll be glad you used them.
