I had a very good experience when i was there they were very nice, i had just walked in and asked if they had an opening and they looked it up on the computer if anyone was available, and took me right a way. It was during the week of christmas, they were very professional. i had a mani and pedi, it is pricey but it was very good. i will go back again. they did give me 20% off too. They could not be any more nice thanks guys.
I am not one to complain and this is the first poor review I have ever written but this experience was just inexcusable. I have worked with the public for many years including work in a salon. I can not imagine treating clients this way and can only hope Toppers will clean up their act!
Not what a massage should be
Upon our arrival we were sent to the waiting area which is very nice and relaxing except for the fact that you could hear an employee yelling about being underpaid "after sticking with the company through their renovations" from what I am guessing was a break room. My mom was taken back for her appointment at the scheduled time while I sat in the waiting area for 30 more minutes. Finally I went out the reception area and asked if there was a problem with my appointment. They apologized and said the nail tech was stuck with a "very annoying client" and would be with me soon. Finally 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment the nail tech called me in, did not apologize, shortened my pedicure from 1 hour to 20 minutes and charged me full price. Only when I complained to the receptionist was I offered 20% off. Ha.
Before a recent vacation I decided to treat my mother and myself to pedicures at Toppers. I should have known how things would go from the inital phone call...upon calling to make the appointment the receptionist gave me a few times and I asked if she could hold on while I checked my calendar. She said no that she could not hold on and I needed to decide right now. Now come on, its not like I was asking her to hold on for more than 30 seconds.
Oswaldo cuts my hair in the salon at Toppers. He is a master stylist and always gives an outstanding cut. I consistently receive numerous compliments on my hair.
